I MUST LOVE SAWDUST.

Chainsaw carving is a very destructive, constructive hobby

Nine years ago, James had a task of taking down several trees. Little did he know, trees would become his medium.

In 2010, he started his first chainsaw carving, and still has it to this day. It sits in plain view to remind him of where he started. Over the next few years, he would try more carvings as a hobby.  Various jobs took precedence during this time until he officially carved part time around fall 2015. Progressing with eagles, bears, and fish, James has turned out many different types of wildlife. Now, thousands of saw hours later, James is full time. As of Spring 2020, he is taking on custom on-site carvings and travelling to arts and craft shows in South and North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. We hope to see you at one!
